Neighbourhoods
The Community Knowledge Centre showcases organizations residing within the City of Toronto, which refers to the former Regional Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto consisting of the former cities of Toronto, Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, York and the Borough of East York. The organizations profiled on this website range in terms of the size and scope of their programming. Some may work in one specific neighbourhood in the city, and others might provide programming across the city in numerous neighbourhoods, and others may even be national in scope. For the purposes of this site, the city is divided into quadrants, so that you can search for organizations which provide services in a neighbourhood that you are interested in. If an organization works across the city, they will show up in each quadrant.
